I came across a multimedia contest for The National Archives today. With school coming to a break soon I’m really looking forward to exploring and photographing for myself. This contest requires you to use a photo from the National Archives that inspires the photo you submit. Heres a Link. http://documerica.challenge.gov/

Explore

It’s been awhile since I’ve been exploring but last weekend I had a chance to go and had a really great time. Here are some shots from an old school.

PEACE

I recently met a girl named Angela who lives in Atlanta and is trying to make a living being a blues musician. Last weekend i met up with her and took some pictures of her playing with her band Peace in Woodruff Park. She’s playing this saturday night at Pal’s on Auburn Ave. @ 11:30.

Alabama

This past weekend I went to Horse Pens 40. Located in the small town of Steele on the third highest mountain in Alabama. It is home to the oldest stones above ground.

When I arrived at Horse Pens 40 there was a large party being held for an outdoor store in Birmingham. I met a lot of great people and look forward to going back.
Here are some pics.
